Latest PRYZM opening attracts 4,000 in its first weekend
The club, which boasts three dance floors and VIP areas with bookable booth seating, saw 4,000 pile through the doors for its opener. The club also includes a unique concept in the ladies’ toilet, which features hair dryers and straighteners as well as a range of Bare Minerals cosmetics.
The club was opened by Brighton Mayor, Denise Cobb, who received a £5,000 cheque from Luminar to her charities.
PRYZM Brighton’s general manager Dave Joyce said: “We are thrilled with the new look club and it was an honour to welcome the Lord Mayor to our venue. The key to any successful city or town is a thriving nigh-time economy and we are proud to be part of Brighton’s success through investment, job creation and attracting visitors.
“We are also delighted to be able to donate such a significant sum to The Mayor's Charities including the Rockinghorse Children’s Charity, which will help buy cutting-edge, lifesaving medical equipment for the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital and the Trevor Mann Baby Unit.”
PRYZM Brighton follows March's opening in Leeds, which has already exceeded expectations, according to Luminar. The two other outlets are in Bristol and Kingston.
