Numerous expressions of interest for the remaining 13 operating Atmosphere Bars and Clubs assets have been received, “some of which are being furthered”, administrator Deloitte has said in an update to M&C Report.

However, the deadline to sell the bars and clubs has been set for “the next few weeks”, according to a Deloitte spokesperson.

If left unsold, the properties located in Basildon, Bedford, Chelmsford, Fareham, Hanley, Kings Lynn, Llandudno, Norwich, Stevenage, Stourbridge, Stratford Upon Avon, Windsor and Yeovil will be closed.

“In the event of further closures, there would be further redundancies”, confirmed the spokesperson.

Atmosphere Bars and Clubs managed an estate of 24 licensed premises, including the Chicago's brand, across England and Wales, with 75 full-time- and 418 part-time employees.

The company was placed in administration on 14 May. Eleven venues have already closed and 192 redundancies have been made.
