Beefeater's steak menu for National Steak Week

Whitbread brand Beefeater Grill offered a steak menu devised by celebrity chef Simon Rimmer during last week's National Steak Week (18 to 24 October).

Beefeater teamed up with the BBC2 Something For The Weekend chef to create the ultimate Steak Lover's Menu, which was availlable in 19 sites.

The four-course set menu offered obeef consommé with slices of seeded bread; sirloin steak and pepper skewers with a chilli dipping sauce; and a steak platter including rump, sirloin, fillet and rib eye cuts served with chips, onion rings, grilled tomato, mushroom and peppercorn and brandy sauce.

Dessert offered Fire and Ice ice cream drizzled with sweet chilli sauce — all for £24.99.

Beefeater is also urging customers to vote for their Rump of the Year out of a list of 10 hottest male and female celebrities of 2010.

Twilight star Robert Pattinson and nation's sweetheart Cheryl Cole are in the running, as well as less obvious choice Adrian Chiles.
