Michael McIntyre revealed as Publican Awards host

One of the world's biggest comics is set to host the Publican Awards 2016, Michael McIntyre.

McIntyre will take to the stage on Tuesday 15 March to present the Publican Awards in what promises to be the year's biggest event for the pub industry.

The glittering awards ceremony will be moving this year to Battersea Evolution, where a huge range of entertainment promises to deliver the most glamorous and biggest Publican Awards to date on its 25th anniversary.

Speaking about the announcement of McIntyre as host, Publican's Morning Advertiser editor, Ed Bedington, said: “Michael is one of the UK’s leading comics and we’re absolutely delighted that he will be hosting the celebration at the Publican Awards 2016.

“These awards are the leaders in the field and are hotly contested by the pub company sector, so it’s wonderful that we’re able to have someone of Michael’s calibre to present and entertain us on the night.”
