Multimillion-pound agreement deal secured by Blackrose Pubs
The deal is part of Blackrose’s ambition to becoming the leading pub management provider in the community and high street pub sector.
It currently has a number of sites in its portfolio, located nationwide across a multitude of areas including Camberley, Cambridge, Harrogate, Kirkstall and St Helens, with most density in the north of the UK.
Existing pubs in the estate are undergoing a transformation, aiming to improve the ambiance and enhance the customer experience.
Funding secured
Blackrose CEO Daren Knipe made the strategic move to preserve the Blackrose Pubs brand in December last year following its insolvency under previous owners.
On the announcement, he said: “We are delighted to have secured this funding to kick-start an exciting time in the industry.
“Blackrose is committed to strengthening the pub sector and this venture further supports our commitment, alongside our partners, to create a portfolio of venues that offer excellent value and all-round great experiences for our customers.”
As a result of the backing, Blackrose said it was posted to embark on a strategic expansion plan over the next 12 months and as part of this, will be identifying prime locations and opportunities in a bid to enhance its new pub portfolio with largely wet-led high street venues across England.
Significant step
Knipe added: “This agreement is a significant step towards our business objectives and further cements Blackrose Pubs as a key operator of pub businesses in the UK.
“Our aim is to provide a consistent and transparent service for our partners, creating successful portfolios while driving consistent improvement and development of our services within the sector.
“We are thrilled to have secured this partnership, once that highlights the growing positivity in the industry and look forward to liaising with property owners and agents in acquiring our first sites in the coming months.”
