Greene King Pub Partners awarded franchise accreditation
Through the accreditation, the franchise has also become a member of the association, which is an independent, self-regulatory body offering guidance, support and accreditation to businesses who provide franchises.
Since its launch in 2021, the pub operator and brewer’s Hive Pub’s model has grown to more than 30 pubs.
Offering operators a ready-to-trade pub with an in going cost of £5,000, Hive Pub franchisees can expect a minimum guaranteed income of £20,000 as well as a percentage of the food and drink sales plus a share of the profits in their pub and the opportunity to earn a bonus.
Immensely proud
Through its BFA accreditation and membership, Greene King Pub Partners stated it had committed to best practices, transparent operations and the welfare and success of its franchisees.
In addition, Hive Pubs franchisees and other Greene King Pub Partners franchisees will receive benefits from the accreditation and membership of the BFA, including access to the BFA’s community of franchisees, as well as expertise and resources provided by the BFA itself.
Managing director of Greene King Pub Partners Dan Robinson said: “We are immensely proud to receive accreditation from the British Franchise Association.
“This accreditation underlines our commitment to work with our Hive Pubs and franchise partners to grow successful pub businesses together.
Exciting development
“While we remain a leased and tenanted pub business at our core, this is an exciting development as we continue to grow Hive Pubs and our franchise offer.”
Last week saw Greene King Pub Partners site the Six Bells in Shinfield, Berkshire, reopen following a £300,000 investment from the pub operator and brewer, while last month saw the Bell in Tring, Hertfordshire welcome customers back after a similar revamp.
Furthermore, in May this year, Greene King celebrated a 62.2% year-on-year revenue boost across its estate.
Greene King chief executive officer Nick Mackenzie said: “This was only made possible by our hardworking and committed team members and tenants, who I would like to thank.”
