How to make a Snakebite Negroni cocktail
Cardiff-based cocktail bar Lab 22, which is number two on the Top 50 Cocktail Bars list, shares how to make a Snakebite Negroni, which offers a gross profit margin of 78.61%, retailing at £9.50.
This is the second Negroni recipe to feature in the Morning Advertiser’s Drinks Masterclass series following the cocktail’s rise in popularity last year after a viral video on social media.
Something extra
A representative from Lab 22 said: “In this current climate it’s important to have accessible and interesting drinks offerings to attract potential guests and stand out from the crowd.
“Drinks like this not just hit the much needed price point, to continue to offer affordable and delicious beverages to guests, but are also interesting enough to entice those people looking for that little something extra.
“Constant creativity and local seasonality are always active ways in which we aim to keep guests returning and ensuring repeat business, which is a must right now.”
Extremely versatile
As well as being the second Negroni in the masterclass series, the recipe is the second cocktail from Lab 22, having previously detailed how to create a Transparency rum cocktail.
Regarding the Transparency cocktail recipe, the bar’s general manager Matthew Jones said: “Drinks of this nature are extremely versatile and can suit your vibe or guests needs easily.
“We have tweaked it and sent it out as a spritz to guests before and it was absolutely amazing."
