Operators are being urged to attend the Profitable Beds Seminar 2023 to learn more about the ever-burgeoning pub accommodation sector.

The open forum day promises to offer invaluable learnings, insight and discussion for key marketing and revenue management personnel and hands-on general managers and licensees in the pub accommodation sector on Tuesday 28 March 2023.

The event is sponsored by Stay In A Pub, which celebrates the unique heritage of pubs and promoting the growing popularity of pubs with rooms, has a line-up of experts talking on the day including The Morning Advertiser​ editor Ed Bedington who facilitate the event and offer an opportunity for questions after each session.

Central London venue

The event, which is also sponsored by TXGB (Toursim Exchange Great Britain), will take place at The Counting House, 50 Cornhill, London, EC3V 3PD, between 10.30am and 3.30pm, and will use research from CGA, which is part of the NielsenIQ global information services company.

The seminar will be opened by Paul Nunny, founder of Stay in a Pub and managing director of Cask Marque at 11am and will be followed by a presentation on Insight, Data & Learnings from The Pub Accommodation Survey 2023 with CGA Strategy.

VisitEngland will talk to attendees about establishing new markets at 11.55am.

Topics for the afternoon

Maximising revenue will be the topic hosted by Dominic Jackson, founder and CRO of MavREV, at 12.15pm, which will be followed by lunch and a chance to network.

Kicking the afternoon off at 1.45pm will be James Berzins, managing director of TXGB, who will discuss collaboration, innovation and growth.

At 2.15pm, Karen Fewell of Digital Blonde Marketing will talk about putting the fun back into promoting pub accommodation with final comments from Stay In A Pub chief executive Sophie Braybrooke at 2.45pm.
