Competitive socialising has seen significant growth as consumers embrace the opportunity to get active in the pub, but with recession now on the cards and a cost of living crisis, how will the sector be impacted?

Nick Frow, co-founder of Birdies Crazy Golf and SFG Club, has launched three sites and despite the economic outlook is hungry for more. He's created a compact and award-winning crazy golf and cocktail concept that is capable of squeezing into smaller retail sites, and with empty sites on high streets across the country, he sees good opportunity for the business.

Morning Advertiser editor Ed Bedington met up with him at his Angel, Islington site in London to hear his thoughts on how the consumer spending squeeze might impact on more experiential and competitive socialising operations.
