London-based Camden Town Brewery has announced the return of one of its most-popular beers, Gentleman’s Wit (4.3% ABV), first launched  in 2012 and last available  in 2019.

Camden's take on a traditional Belgian Wit (White) Beer, Gentleman's Wit has been brewed with perle hops, Belgian Wit Yeast and Pilsner, wheat and torrified wheat malts to combine notes of the caramelised sweet and sharp citrus juice of slow-roasted lemons, alongside the floral freshness of bergamot with added hints of Earl Grey tea.

One of Camden’s most popular products from its archive of beers, which won a gold medal at the World Beer Cup in 2018, Gentleman’s Wit re-launched on Thursday 13 October at the Camden Beer Hall and is available now for a limited time only from the Camden web shop at RPP £12 for 6x330ml cans.

Camden Town Brewery innovation brewer Chris Wheeler said: “When our brewers had the ingenious idea of combining a Wit Beer with slow-roasted lemons, we had no idea just how good it would taste.

"It started as a one-off brew, and because we loved it so much we brewed it again...and again…and again. And now it’s become one of our favourites."

Building on the popularity of its premium tequila Bandero Blanco, Bandero Tequila, part of Molson Coors Beverage Company (MCBC), has expanded its portfolio with the launch of Bandero Café (40% ABV), a small batch coffee infused Tequila.

A smooth yet dry textured Tequila with notes of fresh roasted coffee, chocolate and vanilla, Bandero Café, presented in a leather clad bottle, is made with Blue Weber Agave and matured for seven years in red clay soil in Mexico, available now from REVL in 70cl bottle format at RRP £43.

Bandero Tequila entrepreneur and creator Jonathan Kendrick said “We see a great opportunity in the UK to offer consumers a better choice of premium Tequilas and both Bandero Café and Blanco are exceptional in their own right.

“They are meant to be sipped and savoured, allowing the intricate flavours created by being twice distilled to come through. I am excited to see these products grow in popularity and see these brands go from strength to strength.”

The multi award-winning Tequila brand has already secured national listing across all Be At One sites, owned by Stonegate Group, from mid-October, with Stonegate’s operations director Sarah Miller having described the serve as “truly remarkable”.

MCBC beverages director Jack Daniel said: “There is growing demand for spirits and Tequila in particular, so partnering with a premium Tequila brand was a natural next step in our journey to broaden our offering beyond beer and cider.

“Our Beverage Hub team is always on the lookout for exciting new brands that can add a different dimension alongside our current offering, and Bandero will be a great addition to the spirit shelf for our customers to help drive sales.”
