Estrella Damm National Restaurant Awards launches Food Lovers Award
The Food Lovers Award has been created to give restaurant goers across the UK the chance to participate in the awards by having their say on the best places to eat out in the UK.
People will be asked to vote for their top three restaurants in the UK weighted in order of preference. The results will then be compiled with a shortlist of the top voted restaurants created, which will then be promoted across the National Restaurant Awards channels.
The winner will be announced at the Estrella Damm National Restaurant Awards on 13 June at The Hurlingham Club.
Public vote
The award is the only one that can be voted for by members of the general public as part of the Estrella Damm National Restaurant Awards and has been designed to further recognise brilliant places to eat across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Those who vote will be put into a draw with the chance to win a meal for two at a 2022 Top 100 Restaurant of their choice, to the value of £250.
Restaurants can encourage their customers to vote for them on social media and can download assets to help them do so here https://www.nationalrestaurantawards.co.uk/food-lovers-award-assets/.
“The launch of the Food Lovers Award is special as it allows people outside of the restaurant industry to vote for the places which they think are special and the most rewarding of recognition,” says Restaurant by BigHospitality editor Stefan Chomka.
“It will be very interesting to see whether the views of the general public at large match those of our expert voting academy. I can’t wait to see the shortlist.”
