Who's in charge at the Morning Advertiser?
In a management reshuffle at William Reed, Lorraine Hendle, managing director for retail and manufacturing which includes several brands including The Grocer, will now welcome The Morning Advertiser and Big Hospitality brands into the division.

Hendle will take control of the brands from outgoing MD Tim Brooke-Webb, who steps down from the role to head up the World’s 50 Best Group and oversee its expansion.

On the changes Brooke-Webb added “I feel very proud of what the team and company has achieved in the last 14 years and I am pleased that, despite the pandemic, I am handing over these brands in such excellent condition, we’ve created an amazing set of websites, ingenious digital products and a truly world-leading set of events which have robustly stood the test of time.”

The change also sees Chris Lowe, Morning Advertiser publisher, take on overall responsibility for two other titles, British Baker and Food Manufacture.

Commenting on the changes, Lowe said: “We’re delighted to be working with Lorraine and look forward to continuing to push the pub trade agenda forward, covering all the important news, and bringing the best, industry leading awards and events to the market.”

Sister title MCA Insight will move to Lumina Intelligence under the leadership of Managing Director Jill Livesey, with Alan Totten remaining its publisher.
