Mitchells and Butlers brand Toby Carvery has unveiled a new midweek menu, which includes Yorkshire pudding wraps.

The ‘Yorkie Wraps’ are available with a variety of fillings including roast beef and horseradish; roast British turkey and cranberry; ‘full feast’, which includes beef, turkey, gammon, pork and mustard mayonnaise; and butternut squash and lentil.

The fillings are wrapping in a giant Yorkshire pudding with baby spinach, stuffing and potato, served with roast potatoes and a jug of gravy.

The new menu also includes a selection of smaller dishes such as chicken wings; cheddar bites; lamb kofta; bacon belly bites; mini pigs in blankets; pork riblets (loin); pork, apple and cider potted terrine; creamy mushrooms; cheese fondue; prawn cocktail; and garlic bread.

Toby Tasters

Diners can choose three of these ‘Toby Tasters; for just £5.

Toby Carvery’s ‘famous’ carvery is also still available where customers can choose from roast gammon; roast beef; roast turkey or roast pork, all served with seasonal vegetables and Yorkshire puddings.

Alternative dishes include salmon en papillote (in parchment); superfood salad and there are vegetarian and vegan options on the menu.

These include a meat-free carvery; broccoli and brie parcel; grilled aubergine stack; Portobello mushroom bullseye tart; and root vegetable roast.

Lighter bites

For a lighter bite, diners can also choose a sandwich where meats from the carvery served on a bap or home-baked bread with roast potatoes, a Yorkshire pudding and a jug of gravy.

Fillings include roast gammon with lettuce and tomato; roast British Turkey with stuffing cranberry sauce; roast beef and horseradish; roast pork with stuffing and apple sauce; and the ‘full feast’ with a slice of all four meats.

Cold options are also available such as cheddar with red onion, pomegranate and rhubarb chutney; and king prawns in seafood sauce.

For an extra £1 on sandwiches and wraps, customers can help themselves to steamed or roasted vegetables and stuffing.

They can also add a bowl of soup, home-baked bread sandwich or wrap for an additional £1.50.
