BBC’s The One Show is on the hunt for licensees and community groups who are fighting to save their local pub to appear on an upcoming programme.

On its Facebook page, the programme said: “Recently, more and more pubs are closing down. We’d like to hear about your local. Whether you’ve recently lost your pub, it’s under threat or you’ve managed to club together to save it, please get in touch and tell us all about it.”

People interested in appearing have been asked to email gurbarfubj@oop.pb.hx with the subject line ‘pub.’
