Stonegate's classic estate is introducing a fruit based summer cocktail menu. The menu is available 1 June-1 September at 73 pubs in the estate.

A fruity summer cocktail menu has been launched across Stonegate’s classic estate.

The ‘fresh’ menu for the upcoming season is available 1 June-1 September at 73 pubs in the estate.

The range introduces Strawberry Spritz – a sparkling combination of Galanti Prosecco sweetened with strawberry daiquiri puree, and a strawberry flavoured Pimms with a hint of mint.

Stonegate’s said the fruity twist on the popular seasonal favourite provides ‘the perfect summer cooler and is great for sharing with friends’.

The menu includes Liefmans Fruitesse, a ‘refreshing’ beer ripened on real cherries in the cellar, blended with natural fruit juices of strawberry, raspberry, cherry, billberry and elderberry.

“This provides the perfect thirst-quencher on a hot summer’s day,” Stonegate’s added.

The gin and tonic menu features Bombay Sapphire, Whitley Neill, Gin Mare, Tanqueray No Ten and Hendrick’s, each served in glassware or teapot with Fever Tree tonic and fruit wedges.

Sam Maynard, marketing manager at Stonegate Pub Company, said: “We have worked with various drink suppliers to develop a range of gins with distinctly different flavour profiles.

“Using high quality gins such as Whitley Neil, which is distilled in small batches in an antique copper pot, we are giving our customers the choice to try a wider range of new products.”

The new Hendrick’s Flora Dora sharing cocktail mixes gin infused with cucumber and rose petals and lemon juice, strawberry daiquiri puree and Fentimans ginger beer, served in a classic tea set.

“The Spanish Gin Mare is a must try for gin lovers, as it challenges preconceptions of what gin should taste like and is set to be a big hit,” Mr Maynard added.
