Pub owner Sellers to feature in Burger Bar to Gourmet Star
The Michelin-starred chef, who last year opened the Lickfold Inn in Lickfold, near Petworth, West Sussex, also owns Restaurant Story in London, which gained a Michelin-star within five months of opening.
The chef will feature in the episode on Tuesday 7 April, working with a 22-year-old caterer called Lee, who works at his mum’s cafe in Guisborough, North Yorkshire, and has aspirations to run his own restaurant.
Lee is filmed spending three weeks with Sellers at Restaurant Story. He also is sent to work at restaurant Mirazur on the French Riviera.
Top chef Daniel Clifford, who has just bought freehold the Flitch of Bacon in Little Dunmow, Essex, featured in the first episode of the four-part show, mentoring a chef at his Michelin-starred Midsummer House restaurant in Cambridge.
