Mother's Day campaign for Appletiser
From now until the end of the month licensees will be given PoS and digital screen displays to help promote the ‘win a show-stopping day for you and your mum’ activity, which offers pub-goers the chance to win a luxury hotel and theatre break for their mums.
“This promotion aims to tap into the on-trade opportunity around Mother’s Day by giving 10 consumers the chance to win a perfect break away in London to treat their mums,” said Phil Thomson, associate director of portfolio brands at Coca-Cola Enterprises (CCE).
“Appletiser’s premium credentials make it a popular choice during special occasions like Mother’s Day and this promotion will support on-trade outlets as they prepare to make the day as special as possible for consumers,” he added.
The main prize includes overnight accommodation, tickets for a West End show, dinner and spa treatment. One hundred runners-up will also win £50 theatre vouchers.
Consumers will be able to enter the competition via the Appletiser Facebook page.
“Appletiser’s core audience of 30 something females means the product is the ideal accompaniment for families looking for a premium alternative to alcohol during Mother’s Day celebrations. We would encourage on-trade outlets to take advantage the POS and digital promotional displays to boost sales during this time,” Thomson said.
CCE has been positioning the brand to take advantage of the “with food” opportunity for soft drinks, for the last few years.
