Wadworth licensees given top accolades at annual awards
The annual Wadworth event recognises the best of Wadworth pubs various categories including Best Tenant and Best Manager.
Paul and Glynis Bates from the Brigadier Gerard at Eastleigh near Southampton, won Best Tenants 2013 and Ray Turnbull from the Bartons Mill Pub & Dining near Basingstoke, who won Best Manager 2013.
The Managed House Best Newcomer category were Abi Vince and Ashley Harrow from the Barge Inn, Seend, near Devizes.
In the Tenanted Trade Best Newcomer category the winners were Matthew and Joanne Lumb from the Langley Tap, Langley Burrell near Chippenham.
While Tenanted Trade Food Pub of the Year 2013 went to Michael and Sarah Bedford of the Butchers Arms, Oakridge Lynch, near Stroud while managed House Food Pub of the Year Award 2013 winner was Richard Jennings of the Pheasant, Chippenham.

Pubs In Bloom Award - Vyvyan & Jackie Scott, the Lamb, Marlborough
Retailer of the Year Award - Gordon Hedges, the George at Nunney near Frome.
Marketing Pub of the Year Award - Daryl and Katie Cooper, Fox and Hounds, Theale
Community Pub of the Year Award - Sean & Tracy Littlefair, Red Lion, Bristol.
