UK food and drink wholesaler Booker has launched the second edition of All About Food to inspire chefs to greater profits.

Available in branch, the book includes the cost and recommened selling prices of hundreds of dishes with additional profit ideas and quick and easy menu planners.

Gross and percentage profits per dish have also been included following feedback from the first book. More tips have been added along with drink recommendations and menu printing services.

"All About Food is specially created to help our catering customers make more profits from their food offer," said Stuart Hyslop, sales director – catering. "We have provided ideas based around the most popular and accessible food that any pub, restaurant or café would be proud to serve and most importantly, they can decide their selling price from our suggestions so they can see just how much profit they will make.

"We have included three different levels of sell price, so our customers can clearly see the profits available and then use the price that best suits their local market, as we understand that one size does not fit all."

The book is split into sections including breakfast, kids meals, Mexican and fish dishes.
