Hooters jukebox thieves perhaps not such boobs after all

A jukebox music provider has wasted no time in suggesting that two dozy thieves in San Diego may not have made a costly error when stealing a jukebox from a Hooters bar instead of a cash machine.

Video footage taken from the San Diego outlet of the renowned US bar chain earlier this week appeared to show two men removing the music machine from the venue, when their target was probably the ATM.

Nevertheless, jukebox supplier Soundnet claimed “even crooks might feel the need to listen to music to motivate them for their next job and given the prospect of an overflowing cashbox, maybe it wasn’t a case of mistaken identity.”

Naturally, the firm supplied Snifter with a list of fitting tracks to “mourn the loss of Hooters’ sweet music”:

Stardust - Music Sounds Better With You
Jane’s Addiction - Been Caught Stealing
Michael Jackson - Off The Wall
AC/DC – Sin City
Saint Etienne - I’ve Got Your Music
AC/DC – Smash 'n' Grab
Andy Williams - Music To Watch Girls By
Beastie Boys - Sabotage
Cher - The Music’s No Good Without You
Rihanna - Don’t Stop The Music

Snifter would also suggest another AC/DC track... Jailbreak.
