Old Mill pub in Coventry rewarded at Spirit Pub Company's Best Awards

The Chef & Brewer pub was the overall winner taking a total of three awards; Hotel of the Year, Chef & Brewer Pub of the Year and Outstanding Achievement Award for general manager Linda Johnson.

The awards were handed out by chief executive officer Mike Tye at an awards ceremony in Birmingham. He said: “The Best Awards are a symbol of the company’s recognition for outstanding achievements; all 21 of our winners have shown a key understanding of our values and made great contributions towards the success of the business.

"Linda and her team have consistently demonstrated they are the best and it’s my privilege to personally thank them for their efforts.”

Other categories in the awards ceremony included Apprentice of the Year and Rising Star of the Year.

The Best Awards are given to selected general managers, business development managers and team players across Spirit Pub Company’s 800 strong managed pub estate and support team at the head offices in Burton-upon-Trent.
