Pubtokens gift voucher service attracts 250 more pubs
Participating managed pub chains include Greene King, JW Lees, Marstons, Shepherd Neame, Daniel Thwaites and Young’s, as well as a growing number of freehouses, tenanted and leased pubs, according to Pubtokens managing director Dominic Lavan.
“We targeted the big boys initially to get critical mass,” said Lavan. “But we’re looking to partner with more and more pubs of all types all the time, so that when someone receives a Pubtoken they will always have a pub round the corner at which to redeem it.
“Pubtokens are a cheap way of driving customers to pubs — and most represent new and incremental business. Half of all annual voucher sales will happen in the next eight to 10 weeks, so now is the time to sign up.”
Pubs that contract to Pubtokens must have a website, to which the Pubtokens.com pubfinder search tool can link. They will receive 94% of the tokens’ value (6% being Pubtokens’ fee for operating the scheme).
