Peach Pub Company, the multiple operator, has confirmed the acquisition of its 16th pub, in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire.

The company has taken the Star & Garter in the town on a lease with Greene King. Peach is to invest £500,000 in the site before it re-opens on 11 October.
“We started out in Warwickshire with our first pub The Rose & Crown a decade ago, so it’s fitting that we’ve come home to come of age with our latest acquisition,” said Peach co-founder Lee Cash.
“Like many who use our pubs locally we have long thought that Leamington was the perfect spot for a Peach pub and, after what turned out to be a long search, we’ve finally found the right pub we can make Peachy.
“The Star & Garter has all the things we look for in a pub – a characterful building in a great residential area that needs some love and attention to make it great again. And that’s just what we’ll be doing.”
