Wetherspoon is tops for customer service
The managed chain is the only pub company in the Nunwood Customer Experience 100, with a customer satisfaction rating of 7.12 out of ten.
However intense competition from across industries saw the company drop 40 places to 51 after ranking 11 in last year’s study.
Nunwood strategy director David Conway said: “For JD Wetherspoon’s customers, their experience is underpinned by outstanding value for money. Great prices, warm atmosphere and good food create a powerful reason to continue going back.
“What customers rate highest is convenience, friendly bar staff, convivial atmosphere and cleanliness. What they dislike is surly bar staff and inconsistent food quality.
“Overall in these recessionary times – customers rate it highly as being a great place for a budget night out.”
None of the major banks and no utility companies made the final 100.
Nunwood surveyed 7,300 customers across Britain about their experiences with more than 250 of Britain’s best known brands.
