Drake & Morgan's MacLean wins accolades
The woman behind Drake & Morgan has won the Outstanding Entrepreneur award at the Women 1st Shine Awards.
Jillian MacLean was also named as one of the 100 Most Influential Women in the industry at the awards hosted by Gaby Roslin at the Savoy Hotel.
Other women in the list were British Beer and Pub Association chief executive Brigid Simmonds and Su Cacioppo who is personnel and legal director for JD Wetherspoon.
"Jillian MacLean is an inspiration to us all, especially to both men and women working in the licensed trade," said founder of Women 1st Sharon Glancy.
"One of her nominations stated that she was the perfect illustration of a trend-spotter and trend-setter and articulated how the future of the licensed trade truly has no glass ceiling. I am sure Jillian, along with the other amazing women on the Top 100 listing, will inspire countless other females to join and accomplish their career aspirations in the vibrant licensed retailing industry."
