Premium Bars & Restaurants' former group commercial director Caroline Craik is opening her second Punch leased site.

She will re-open the Dog & Gun pub, in Bradford, West Yorkshire, today following a £200,000 joint investment with Punch.

The pub, which will introduce a lunchtime and evening food service for the first time, is being run in partnership with Glen and Fiona Shackleton.

"It has a strong drinking trade that we want to retain but we will introduce food in the evenings if there's demand," she said.

Craik still works full-time as managing director at Salon Advance, a company rolling out an innovative software package for hair salons.

Her first Punch pub was the Royal Oak in Eccleshill, Bradford, which she runs alongside her sister, Suzanne Woods.

She added: "We've just had a very strong weekend at the first pub."

Craik had previously worked as purchasing director at Laurel Pub Company and Yates's.
