Drinks wholesaler Matthew Clark has signed a deal to supply a range of Elgood's Brewery ales to its customers in the Midlands and East Anglia.

In return, Matthew Clark will supply a range of wines, spirits and soft drinks to the Elgood's pub estate for the next three years.

Cask ales included in the deal are Black Dog (3.6% ABV), Pageant (4.3% ABV) and CAMRA award-winning Cambridge Bitter (3.8% ABV). Elgood's is also brewing Matthew Clark's new house cask ale Free Traders (3.6% ABV) for customers to rebrand for their outlets.

"We are delighted to be working with Matthew Clark to help our tenants improve and expand their businesses," said Elgood's managing director Belinda Sutton.

"With new ideas and experience from the Matthew Clark team we also hope to build up our own cask sales within the tied estate."

Matthew Clark regional managing director Helen Grove added: "This partnership allows us to develop and support the quality of wines, spirits and soft drinks with marketing and training support within the Elgood's pub estate, as well as growing and strengthening our cask ale range for our customers, in time for the busy festive period."
