Ringwood pubs join ale trail
Nine pubs in Ringwood, Hampshire, have joined forces with Ringwood Brewery to offer the town's first ale trail.
Drinkers will collect the ale trail stamp cards and once they've got nine stamps they can exchange their card for an official T-shirt at the Ringwood Brewery store.
"The trail is a first for Ringwood and we hope it will encourage more people to go to the pub in the lead up to Christmas," said Ringwood assistant brand manager Tracey Turnbull.
"Ale trails are great for the industry as they really do create interest and get people talking about beer.
"The trail differs from a pub crawl as it doesn't need to be completed in one day and can be spread out at a more leisurely pace over the two months.
"I like to think of it as more of a cultural tour of the pubs that help make Ringwood the bustling market town it is."
The two-month trail will end on 31 December.
