Baker Tilly is administrator for Maypole Group
Baker Tilly Restructuring and Recovery LLP has been appointed as administrators of the Maypole Group.
Partners Simon Bower and Bruce Mackay will act as joint administrators for the five-site operator.
The company suspended its shares on Monday after Clydesdale bank demanded the immediate repayment of its loans.
"Having an established stable of distinctive pub hotels providing great quality, locally sourced food, the prospects for selling the group remain strong and a number of parties have already come forward," said Simon Bower.
"All the group's venues remain open for business as usual and we encourage customers to continue to take advantage of all facilities provided."
The Maypole group was born in November 2003. It operates the Lifeboat and Old Coach House, Thornham, Norfolk; the Angel Hotel, Lavenham, Suffolk; Wayford Bridge Inn, Stalham, Norfolk; the Pear Tree Inn, Whitley, Wiltshire; and the Bridge Inn, Norwich.
It underwent a refinancing exercise last year with the Clydesdale.
