Code of practice training for Greene King BDMs
Greene King has completed the first stage of its Code of Practice training for BDMs, following feedback from tenants.
The Leading the Way programme was launched for Greene King's business development managers (BDMs) after an independent survey of 574 tenants and lessees.
"Nine out of 10 of our licensees said they wanted to see a guaranteed level of training for their business development managers to be able to deliver support successfully," said managing director Simon Longbottom.
"Delivering our Code of Practice isn't a box ticking exercise; it's about embedding it into the DNA of our business. Training for business development managers is an essential part of that."
The first four days of training took place last month and focused on the delivery of the new code and new initiatives including an enhanced online rent assessment model and a Business Development Manager's Handbook.
Greene King's new Code of Practice, which has been accredited by the BII Benchmarking Accreditation Service, was introduced to its licensees at the end of September and will go fully live from 16 October.
