The third Best Bar None (BBN) Practitioners Conference is to take place in Durham in 24 November.

Durham has been selected as the venue because Durham BBN was crowned 'most innovative scheme' at the 2009 conference.

This year's Conference, at the Ramside Hall, will feature various practical sessions to assist the development of BBN schemes. There will also be updates on impact of licensing changes and cuts.

Neil Robertson, Best Bar None chief executive, said: "This will be an exciting conference.

"With the national and local partners stepping back because of cuts and new licensing legislation pending, those involved in Best Bar None can demonstrate their key role in the industry and be part of the current process of strategic change."

Tickets cost £50 each. BBN said last year was over-subscribed and urged people to book early.
