Woodforde's nabs ex Adnams and Diageo man
Norfolk brewer Woodforde's has appointed former Diageo and Adnams man Rupert Farquharson has its new director of sales and marketing.
His previous roles include retail director at Adnams, marketing manager for Guinness at Diageo in the UK and Italy, sales and marketing director of the Wine Society and retail manager for Bass.
He is also a past chairman of Pub is the Hub in East Anglia.
Woodforde's director Dennis Nudd said: "Despite the difficulties experienced by most brewers in the current recession, Woodforde's has consistently delivered double digit sales growth during the last few years and sees a bright future for its brands, which are made from the best possible ingredients.
