MA200 topics are revealed
The speaker line-up for the next free Morning Advertiser seminar for members of our managed multiples club, MA200, has been unveiled. The meeting, which takes place on Tuesday 13 July at Whittlebury Hall, Northamptonshire, has a focus on driving revenue and improving customer satisfaction.
• Guy Arnold, former Enterprise Inns field operations director, current award-winning lessee and author of Great or Poor: a simple but powerful system to deliver a great customer service each and every day, talks about "how to really deliver great customer experiences".
• Paul Beaumont, who worked as an associate director at RBS and is now investment director at Downing Corporate Finance, looks at the issues facing operators obtaining finance in the public house sector in the current economic environment.
• Chris Lewis, marketing director Wells & Young's, on "using cask beer to drive pub profits".
• In the popular "My Big Idea" slot, Barhub founder Tim Foster talks about multiplying sales four times over at his first site to £1.2m in 18 months, using demographics to drive the business and creating "more than just a pub".
• James Nye, managing director of Anglian Country Inns, talks about developing unlikely pubs, seafood, pizzas and running a microbrewery.
• Kevin Charity, managing director of Bulldog Pub Company, will be presenting on coaching inns, accommodation, web bookings, and tenanted pubs.
• Rachelle Peterson, director of commercial sales at Filmbank, looks at how pubs have driven sales by setting up a film club.
• Tom Arundal, business development manager, Soundnet, tells members how Wi-Fi can drive sales.
• Brulines' Tim Chapman, national accounts manager (retail), will be presenting on "how to get greater insight of your draught beer yields".
• Gary Topiol, managing director of Empathica, credited widely with transforming the landscape of pub and restaurant customer understanding, explains how pub operators can measure, manage and improve customer satisfaction and advocacy.
• Suzy Jackson, Punch recruitment director, talks about Punch's relationship with multiples and company innovation.
• Pub operator Gary Mallen, who specialises in overseeing rent reviews on behalf of other operators talks about the "10 things I've learned about rent reviews".
• Paul Chase, CPL training director and head of UK Compliance, talks about "the 10 regulatory elephant traps for multiple operators."
