Paul Salisbury buys two Enterprise freeholds
Pub entrepreneurs Paul Salisbury and Paul Hales have bought the freeholds of two pubs they lease from Enterprise Inns.
Their company, Lovely Pubs, which runs six pubs in the Midlands, has bought the Boot at Lapworth and the Crabmill at Preston Baggot from Enterprise.
Enterprise chief executive Ted Tuppen said: "Occasionally, we receive an offer for a pub that makes sense for our shareholders — an offer above our target price."
Salisbury and Hales are the brains behind Mitchells & Butlers 64-site Premium Country Dining concept.
Lovely Pubs is also looking to redevelop its first high street site — Flint's, in Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands, where M&B is head lessee.
