Salisbury Pubs buys fifth site
Multiple operator Salisbury Pubs has bought its fifth pub — the Black Horse in Fulmer, Buckinghamshire.
David and Becky Salisbury have taken on the Greene King lease for an undisclosed sum and will now close the pub for five weeks for some refurbishment.
Becky Salisbury said: "The Black Horse is a wonderful old building and we are very pleased to have been able to add it to our group of pubs. It just needs a little bit of our love and attention and some changes in the kitchen to ensure that we can get the food we love on to the table for our customers."
The Black Horse will re-open on 22 April with Richard Coletta as General Manager. Coletta comes from Salisbury Pubs first pub, the Alford Arms, near Berkhamsted.
This is the first purchase since the acquisition of The Old Queens Head in Penn.
Salisbury Pubs also operates the Royal Oak at Marlow; the Swan Inn at Denham, and the Old Queens Head in Penn.
The Alford Arms is a previous MA award-winning gastropub.
