Brakes is stocking four Steam and Fresh potato products from Aviko.
The supplier says the potatoes offer a healthy option after the Christmas indulgences, as they have no additives, 0 per cent fat if prepared in a steamer, and are fast to prepare, requiring no washing, peeling, blanching or boiling.
Elise Hylkema, brand manager foodservice UK, said: "Aviko's Steam and Fresh range locks in all the essential vitamins and minerals, resulting in a healthier potato option".
The chilled shelf life for the product is 17 days.
