John Smith's People's Darts finalists revealed

Eight of the UK's best pub darts players have secured their place in the John Smith's People's Darts Final in January.

The competitors include Duncan Hastings, aka "Big D," a regular at Pennie's Bar in Falkirk who will represent Scotland; Mark Petchey, aka "Petch" from the Royal Oak in Basingstoke representing the South East and John Quinn representing Wales from the Briton Ferry WMC.

A full list of finalists appears below.

Professional mentors will now coach all the finalists before they appear at the final at the Lakeside, Surrey during the BDO World Darts Championships next month.

The eight finalists have all won £1,000 prize money for the charity of their choice and the overall champion will win a further £14,000 for the charity of their choice, and £1,000 of equipment for their local pub.
