St Austell tenants are overwhelmingly happy with the quality of their beer and the vast majority are satisfied with the level of support they receive from the brewery.

The results were revealed in a survey of tenants in the Cornwall-based brewer and pub company estate.

A total of 72 tenants responded to the survey, which was carried out by Elliott People, with 99 per cent saying they were happy with the quality of St Austell beer.

More than eight out of 10 tenants (85 per cent) said they were happy with the head office support they receive and 89 per cent saying they had a good relationship with their area manager.

Adam Luck, St Austell Brewery estate director, commented: "We are delighted with the results of our recent tenant survey.

"It is imperative to our business that we listen to the views of our tenants and we felt it the right time to gauge their perception of us as a business.

Our key focus moving forward will be to address the areas where we can deliver better. It is our aim to surpass tenants' expectations in all areas and be known as a great brewery tenants want to be part of."

Jo Lynch, account manager at Elliott People, said: "The results clearly demonstrate the fact that St Austell is a well respected brewery in the eyes of its tenants.

"They are committed to supporting and working with their tenants through any issues and the excellent results from this survey are testament to that commitment."
