Victoria is top Fuller's pub
The Victoria on Stratheam Place, London has been named Fuller's pub of the year.
Managers Chris Cochran and Helen Wilson scooped the Griffin Trophy for achieving the best standards in every aspect of its business.
The overall winner is selected from the winners of the three main categories, Best City Pub, Best Country/Village Pub and Best Town/Local Pub. The Victoria also won the trophy in 2007.
"The Victoria is a truly classic London pub and a real jewel in Fuller's crown," said Fuller's chairman Michael Turner.
"The pub stands proudly on the corner of Strathearn Place and Sussex Place, and sits right at the heart of its community.
"It attracts a wide range of customers, from tourists to local residents, who are all impressed by the wide range of delicious beers on offer. While the customers may be varied, Chris, Helen and their team make sure they all receive the same excellent service once inside The Victoria."
Chris Cochran said: "We've missed having the Griffin Trophy sitting on our back bar so will take great pleasure in placing it back where it belongs once we return to the pub. I can't wait to share the news with our customers, they will be so happy for us and who knows, may even buy us a drink to celebrate."
The Griffin Trophy winner receives a holiday to the value of £3,000, £500 to share with the pub's staff, a commemorative plaque and the coveted Griffin Trophy itself.
