Christie + Co is looking for takers on nine ex-Regent Inns sites the bar operator relinquished as part of its pre-pack administration deal announced earlier this week.

Acting on behalf of Administrator BDO Stoy Hayward, the agent is marketing the leasehold interests of the sites, which are spread across England.

The package comprises the ex-Walkabout-branded bars in Bradford, Lancaster and Shaftesbury Avenue, Central London; the former Jongleurs comedy clubs in Bristol, Nottingham, Oxford, Southampton and Bow, East London; and the Quincey's Old Orleans restaurant in Bristol.

A restructuring of Regent Inns was completed earlier this week, with 60 of the group's 80 sites acquired through a pre-pack administration by new company iNTERTAIN, headed by ex-Regent Inns chief executive John Leslie.

Neil Morgan, head of pubs at Christie + Co, said: "We are confident that these units, which in the majority are centrally located and of a significant size, will generate strong interest from both national operators and local entrepreneurs."
