A hospital cleaner has won £18,000 compensation after she broke a leg when her stiletto heel got snagged in a pub courtyard. Selena Gilder, 40, was smoking a cigarette when one of her three-inch heels became trapped. She fell backwards through a door into a disused toilet block. She spent seven months off work on crutches after being hurt at the Albion pub in Tewkesbury, Glos, in 2007.
