Racing UK freezes subs for pubs
Racing UK (RUK) has opted to freeze its pubs and clubs subscription for the next 12 months.
The freeze follows the news that subscriptions for At The Races (ATR) horse racing channel - sold by Sky commercial - will rise by 50%. RUK doesn't require a Sky subscription and is not reliant on any other service. It claims to offer pubs and clubs a cost-effective service for its customers and an attractive alternative to ATR - which is charged at an additional cost to the Sky package.
More than 2,300 pubs and clubs and their customers currently have commercial subscriptions to RUK. Christina Marsh, commercial marketing manager at Racing UK, said:
"We haven't increased the pubs and clubs' subscription since we launched in 2004 - and are delighted to freeze that price point for at least another 12 months. "Landlords should take note that there are no hidden costs, add-ons, or extra subscriptions with Racing UK - it's simply a flat monthly subscription fee, which represents terrific value, especially in the current climate.
"There's a lot to look forward to for Racing UK viewers - the Glorious Goodwood meeting starts later this month before the famous York Ebor meeting gets underway in August. We look forward to welcoming new subscriptions in addition to our thriving customer- base."
The Racing UK commercial package provides subscribers with point of sale collateral as well as five free tickets to 50 days racing each year, worth £4,500. For subscription enquiries please call 0870 351 8834 or visit www.racinguk.com/pubs
