Bonrose lets Twickers bar
Twickenham bar the Ranch has been sublet to Bonrose Enterprise, a pub operator with a three-strong portfolio in the south-west area of London.
Acting on behalf of the Mint Group, the south-England-based multiple bar and club operator that ran the bar, Davis Coffer Lyons brokered the deal and let the site within two weeks of the received offer.
The lease has 17 years left to run, and a passing rent of £86,000.
The bar is located in Twickenham town centre on York Street close to the rugby stadium. This followed a recent redevelopment, which has made it the largest dedicated rugby stadium in the world, with an 82,000 capacity.
Although the ground is usually only occupied by rugby union, it also regularly hosts events and concerts by artists such as the Rolling Stones, U2, Bon Jovi, and
REM. The recent redevelopment will also see a four-star Marriott Hotel and a Virgin Active Health Club open in the grounds, further increasing the footfall and potential for local businesses' trade.
Casey Phillips of Davis Coffer Lyons, which brokered the deal said: "A major factor for this operator and a catalyst for getting the deal done quickly was the Six Nations contest. It was paramount we exchanged and completed in time for what will be a very busy period.
