Sales of low-alcohol drinks are soaring despite their previously "uncool" image and a general decline in the amount of booze being drunk, according to a new report. The market for lower alcoholic drinks - known as LADs - is booming as sales in Britain outperform the beer market as a whole, increasing by 10% in just two years.
