Jim Fallon leaves McQueen Ltd
Jim Fallon, one of the UK licensed trade's leading finance experts, has announced he is to leave investment firm McQueen Ltd six years after co-founding the company.
Fallon advised the likes of Marston's and Fuller's on a number of acquisitions, including the former's takeover of Lake District brewer Jennings and Fuller's' deal to buy Hampshire brewer Gale & Co three years ago.
"After more than 25 years in full time employment and over six years since being a founding member of McQueen, I have decided to take a break for a while," Fallon said in a statement.
"I will therefore be leaving the world of investment banking. The beauty of this decision is that I have no firm plans other than to allow time for some relaxation over the next few months.
"One of my colleagues at McQueen, George Fleet, who has been jointly leading the focus on leisure and gaming with me, will be responsible for continuing the sector development.
"The creation and development of McQueen from a start-up to an established advisory business fills me with pride and I wish all there the very best for the future."
Fallon is to leave the business at the end of the year. He is part of the team behind the Lowlander bar concept, which has two outlets in London.
