'Shame of binge-drink Britons abroad'

Drunken and loutish holidaymakers have sent Britain's reputation abroad plunging to new depths. A Foreign Office report reveals a huge rise in the number of arrests of Britons overseas; there were 4,603 arrests last year, up 15.6 per cent. - Daily Mail​

The pub landlord selling Britain's cheapest pint says he may sell it for just 21p. Belal Hussain cut his beer to 79p last month at The Marksman in West Bromwich when a nearby bar matched his 89p ale. Men are failing to heed the message that drinking alcohol increases the risk of cancer. A poll for the World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF) found that the percentage of women in the UK knowing alcohol can cause cancer has gone from 35 per cent to 42 per cent in the last year.
