Has your Sky subscription increased?

I've just had
to get the new Sky Ultimate package, costing an extra £69 per month. Showing live events is vital for my business and there is no way round it. We live in an era now where there are cameras at every game. For the price we pay, we should be allowed to pick and choose the games we show on TV.

At the moment
I pay £15,516
a year and the new package looks as if it could be around £22,000. We are in negotiations
with Sky at the moment
to work out the deal. I want to get the package as cheaply as possible with the recession coming.
It is a vital aspect of my business, so I need it.

Sky is already expensive, but it's just so important in a pub nowadays.
I pay £9,500 a year which is a bit much already. If it was just football I wouldn't bother, but the fact that people can watch all the different sports makes it a valuable asset.

I think it's an absolute con.
I got the subscription on the price freeze last year, yet my costs are to go up by 11%. Sky has such a monopoly and that's wrong. At the same time, we need to have it for the pub to continue. We get 400 people in on match days. Without Sky we would struggle.
