West Eleven in the mix
Bibendum has teamed up with West Eleven to launch a range of premium ready-to-drink cocktails across the on-trade this month.
The cocktails have been created by UK bar industry figure and IPBartender mixologist Ben Reed, and will be marketed as "real cocktails in a bottle".
The aim is to "replicate the experience of a professionally-made cocktail in restaurants, pubs, hotels and other catering establishments," said West Eleven.
West Eleven offers five cocktails in a bottle: Classic Mojito, Pomegranate Cosmo, Passionfruit Mai Tai, Elderflower Collins and Blueberry Bramble.
Bibendum managing director Michael Saunders said the drinks are aimed at bars wanting to offer "consistently made premium cocktails, but lacking the time, ingredients, manpower or expertise to make them to order".
"West Eleven meets this demand and our new
partnership highlights Bibendum's commitment to driving innovation in the trade," he added.
West Eleven cocktails range from 8.1% abv to 8.5% abv and are made in the UK from fresh authentic raw ingredients, including 100% grain vodka, hand-blended Jamaican and Cuban rums and natural fruit.
The cocktails in the range are made without preservatives, artificial colours or sweeteners and have been designed to be served well-chilled, shaken and poured over ice.
The drinks are expected to sell in the on-trade for between £5 and £6.50 per 250ml bottle.
