Carlsberg masters the art of draught

Carlsberg has teamed up with Electrolux to create the Carlsberg DraughtMaster Professional System, offering "quality draught beer where it has been traditionally difficult to serve".

The standalone unit, developed in association with Electrolux, is being marketed to the on-trade as an ideal solution for secondary areas such as patios or function rooms where there's no bar, but an opportunity to maximise trade exists.

Nick Howells, marketing manager for DraughtMaster, said: "Traditional dispense systems are often costly to maintain and service, and this often outweighs sales benefits. This system delivers cost savings through reduced installation, service and maintenance costs.

"In addition, it needs no line cleaning, requires no CO2 and comes with recyclable kegs.

"Carlsberg has created a draught-beer solution for these outlets that matches customers' needs — now they don't need to miss out on the sales opportunity that comes from quality draught beer."

The DraughtMaster Professional is available through 3663 Catering Equipment for £1,100, including installation, training and two kegs. Additional kegs will cost £41 each.
