Bar 08: The future starts here
The future is here… BAR.08 opens in London in just a few weeks and, as past shows have proved, it's the place where operators sharpen their cutting edge for the challenges and opportunities ahead.
The UK's bar scene is bursting with stylish venues, stunning interiors and premium drinks offerings and BAR.08 has always reflected the innovative spirit of the sector. For a decade style bars have had a major influence on trends within the entire hospitality industry, with pubs, clubs, restaurants, hotels and café bars all embracing the modern operation in their own ways.
And this year BAR.08 is stepping up a gear, moving into the spacious Earls Court 1, opening up the event to more of the industry both in the UK and internationally and offering a more focused approach to the different aspects of modern hospitality.
As well as the traditional Bar Show, in which 140 suppliers and services will present their latest creations and be available to talk to operators face-to-face, Bar.08 introduces Bar Build and Bar Menu.
The different sections will make the show clearer for visitors from across the wider hospitality industry, giving operators the chance to see modern ideas and styles of operation first-hand, including premium products and services from furniture and design to drinks and specialist bar services.
Bar Build
Bar Build will offer designers, manufacturers and venues the opportunity to see the latest furniture, lighting, surface coverings, interior decorations, washroom accessories and other exclusive designer essentials.
Bar Menu
BAR Menu will offer mouth-watering ideas to inspire those serving food as well as drink, from light bites to more comprehensive food offerings, plus tea, coffee, soft drinks, organic alternatives, wine, champagne, tableware and catering equipment.
Bar.08
BAR.08 will maintain the best of the traditional bar show, featuring drinks companies, music, light and sound systems and specialist bar services in a new vibrant atmosphere featuring headline DJs and stunning, state-of-the-art light and sound.
BAR.08 is committed to education and a whole host of features will harness the knowledge of leading experts within the modern hospitality sector all over the world.
With more space available inside Earls Court, the educational feature side of BAR has been able to expand. More dramatic theatres and working bars will offer inspiration, education and advice from leading bar professionals who are travelling to BAR from across the globe.
